Agency finance platform adopts the Counta name, reflecting its focus on helping agencies move from financial management to financial intelligence, providing an immediate understanding of how an agency is performing.
NEW YORK, November 9, 2026. Accountability, a financial platform built for marketing and advertising agencies, today announced its rebrand as Counta. The platform is designed around how agencies manage their financial workflow, rather than asking them to adapt their operations to generic accounting software.
Founded in 2008 as Accountability, the company adopted the counta.com domain as part of its 2020 rebrand and made Counta its legal name this year. The rebrand brings the company and its platform together under one identity.
Too often, agency finance leaders must work through lengthy reconciliations before they can answer a basic question: Which clients and jobs are profitable?
Counta connects the full lifecycle of agency work in one system, from estimates and budgets to time, expenses, purchasing and billing, all linked to the general ledger.
Through its public API and the Counta AI Connector, agencies can securely connect Counta with their other systems and the AI tools they already use, with governed access to their financial data.
Alongside the rebrand, Counta continues to invest in further development of the Counta AI Connector, enhancements to its mobile app and work to support agentic workflows.
